I remember when I wrote my first book – Dear Sister Friend: A Letter of Love and a Call to Action.
Finishing the manuscript was a monumental step and I felt such a sense of accomplishment and excitement! I was so eager for the next step. Thank God I had a publishing consultant. For each step there was research, numerous decisions I had to make and a lot of hard work to be done but having a consultant saved me from making some major rookie mistakes.
I’m grateful for the experience of self-publishing because I learned so much and it gave me an insight and profound appreciation for all the various roles that go into getting a book to market.
There are many people with full-time jobs and other responsibilities that have had the desire to write a book. However, other duties called and the dream of being a published author took a lower priority. I know first-hand the effort and dedication it takes to make that dream come true.
Lamp Oil Publishing provides consulting services to help writers on their journey to become published authors.
